Ann Seymour Photography

As a versatile photographer and photojournalist working for many years in and around the UK, Ann can blend into any setting taking natural and unique photographs of people and events.

With experience in business and private sectors, she is confident with people, product and place photography. Much of her experience has been in agriculture, equine, hospitality, and politics.

Ann has a professional background in marketing, corporate communications, publishing and graphic design, originating with a Degree in Design. Working around marketing briefs she often gives advice and direction when you are unsure how to start the ball rolling.

With a love of horses, she has ridden the Beacons since childhood and travelled much of Europe, America and the Northern Hemisphere in search of the absolute horseback experience. This has developed a passion for the farming and equine community and she is entirely at home in these environments. She has had several acclaimed exhibitions, the most recent being Charlies' Year in Feb 2020 at the Theatre Brycheiniog, Brecon. This body of work showcased her skills within the farming sector attracting great reviews and praise from the farming community.

Her love of music and the arts has seen her work as the in-house photographer for the former 'iconic' Tabernacle Venue in Talgarth owned by Kate Holmes and Alan McGee. As a boutique and cult music venue, she spent years capturing many celebrities, musicians, and artists and listed many as personal friends. Working in the music industry Ann has worked on PR photography for artists and also designed album covers utilising her experience in Graphic Design.

As an event photographer, Ann is often asked to shoot family occasions such as weddings, gatherings and parties. Her natural, relaxed approach leads to beautiful and sensitive images you will treasure. Her natural ability to blend with family and friends will leave your day feeling relaxed and happy. She often second shoots as a complimentary style to many well-known leading Welsh wedding photographers. Ann will happily work with all faiths and denominations as well as members of the LGBTQ community. Living with her two children at the foothills of the Black Mountains she is an active community member and finds constant inspiration in the people and places that surround her.
