Hello! I’m Ann, a photographer based in Mid-Wales, close to Brecon and Hay-on-Wye. Although I’m local, I love to travel and am more than happy to do so for photography sessions in other counties and beyond. I have done weddings in Wiltshire and Cheshire, so happy to discuss!
I specialise in weddings, family portraits, equine photography, and agricultural events. With a wealth of experience in these areas, you can rest assured that you’re in good hands. I’m also a proud cat owner, and my furry friend Sasha often makes appearances on my social media. Additionally, I have two wonderful young adults who are currently pursuing their own paths in further education.
My work has been featured in various acclaimed exhibitions, newspapers, magazines, and online publications. I'm particularly known for my expertise in equine and agricultural events and am comfortable working in challenging outdoor conditions. You'll often find my car stocked with wellies, binder twine, pliers, umbrellas, and my favourite: Earl Grey tea!
I’m a huge fan of Kate Bush, and I embraced my Goth phase back in university - ask to see the photos if you like nostalgia! I have a significant head of natural grey hair, which earned me the nickname 'Lady Grey'—a nod to my love for tea and my unique look.
Besides cats, horses have been a passion of mine since I was eight. I've had the privilege of riding and owning various breeds, including cobs, quarter horses, Icelandic horses, Spanish horses, and Haflingers. I've travelled to many different countries to pursue this love. It's safe to say I enjoy exploring new places, especially from the saddle!
I've been a professional photographer for more than ten years, but my experience with images goes back thirty years+ in marketing, communications, and web design. This background helps me understand exactly what photos to take for each specific job.
If you think I might be the right photographer for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out through my contact page. Let’s start a conversation about how I can help capture your most precious moments—after all, chatting with me is free! And if there’s tea and cake involved, count me in!
Please click on the area of photography you’re interested in, and I’ll be happy to share what I can offer you—along with a smile, a friendly demeanour, and the assurance that I’ll take the stress out of the process for you!
